  • If these two options are not available, please call DRMS or your Service Affiliate for assistance.
On www.drms.org you can navigate to and click on Log In at the top right corner of the website. From there you will enter your username and password.

  • If you are moving from one computer to another:
    • The first step is getting a backup from the old computer if possible. If this is not an option and you are currently signed up for DartSync, please call DRMS to get your most recent backup and to receive assistance with installation. If you are not signed up for DartSync, the last option is to get a database from your most recent test day. Please call us for this database.
    • To download Dart from the website, you will need to log in to the website, navigate to Downloads > Dart > then click Download Dart for Producers and complete the download and installation steps.
    • If you do not have internet, please talk to your technician or call DRMS to request a flash drive for installation.
    • Please call DRMS for assistance with installing your database.
  • Dart prevents entering a calf index number that is a duplicate of a heifer or bull number in the system. If there is a cow that already has an index you would also like to use for a heifer, this is allowed.
    • When using quick entry, you will denote a cow with “+” and heifer with “-” (example: search 500+ for cow, 500- for heifer).
  • Since there must be a unique identity for each record, numbers cannot be reused if there is still an active heifer or bull record with the same number in the database. A heifer index number can be reused after a heifer or bull calf has left the herd (marked as sold or died) and the herd has been processed.
If the data has not been processed:
  1. Clicked Calved in the Input Desk.
  2. Select the cow you would like to edit and click Apply Individually.
  3. Click Delete.
    • To correct, click Edit and enter the correct calving information and click Done.
    • To delete the calving event entirely, click Exit.
If the data has been processed, please call DRMS for assistance.
  • Your herd must be subscribed to Lab Pregnancy Results with a valid email in order to receive the files to download through Dart. Please call us to make sure you are subscribed.
  • Once subscribed, you will receive an email that the results are ready and then you can select Get New Data from DRMS in Dart to download your results.
